Come and visit us for a coffee and cake, a fry up or even lunch. You don’t need to be a paying customer of Tropical Birdland to enjoy our products. Our café is perfectly suited for that catch-up you keep meaning to arrange, a light lunch with friends or add a change up to your week!
Were now dog friendly!!
Were now delighted too announce that our cafe is dog friendly, wether you’re stopping by after a walk or meeting up with some friends, your four legged companions are more than welcome to join you.
Please note: dogs are not permitted around Tropical Birdland, strictly only the Cafe, which can be accessed through the main door on the car park.
So why not grab a coffee, have a catch up and maybe even treat your four legged friend to a cheeky puppacino.
We’ve been working behind the scenes to improve in all areas. Our menu ranges from a simple light toastie, to a hearty burger, there’s something for everyone.
We’ve recently upgraded our menu’s, we now use butchers recommended meats from our local butchers S J Langton, and continually use locally sourced milk which make a huge difference in our coffee and food.
At the cafe, were happy to say all cakes are fresh and homemade right here by us!
Each cake is made by hand and put onto our counter for you to enjoy. We regularly rotate flavours, from a simple Victoria sponge, to our showcase chocolate cakes to cater to all tastes. A perfect match along side our coffee.
We regularly like to do themed weeks, giving us freedom to have some fun with a bit of love for our customers, keep an eye out for any themes you may spot!

The Bay Tree
We supply a large range of The Bay Tree products including salad dressing, jams and chutneys. We use the jams in our baking as we find they complement our homemade bakes the best. These products push the flavour boundary and it is were traditional cooking meets innovative flavours. Take a look at our shop to discover what flavours we stock. Can’t decide what flavour to choose? We sometimes have samples of both jams and chutneys displayed in our café so keep an eye out for those.
